SYI Ductile Iron Floating Manhole Cover is made from spherical graphite cast iron (ductile iron) by machine moulding. Very good quality, smooth and free from sand holes, blow holes, distortion or any other defects. Loading capacity is 40 tons. We also have BSI certificate, also can put the kite mark in the cover.
The marking or logo can be changed according to customers’ request.

Function:
1. Release of Air/Water pressure
Cover will automatically float up when the water/air pressure in the manhole exceeds the limit, without affecting passing by of normal traffic.
2. Anti-rocking
Using the principle of Cork, the contract surface between cover and frame is fully slope machined to solve the potential risks of rubber gaskets.
3. Anti-slip Raised patterns
We design and test the cover raised patterns to guarantee the slip resistance and to ensure the passing safety of all kinds of traffic participants.
4. Anti-theft
Based on gravity functions, the lock will close automatically and be opened by special tools only.
