The advantages of Cast Steel Gate Valve: fluid resistance is small, the sealing surface is subjected to small media erosion
corrosion. It saves effort to open and close. Medium flow direction is not restricted, no turbulence, no pressure reduction.
Simple structure, short structure length, good manufacturing technology, high temperature and high pressure resistance of optional materials, a wide range of application.
Cast Steel Gate Valve Installation:
1. Check the valve cavity and sealing surface and other parts before installation, no dirt or sand particles attached;
2. Bolts at all connection parts should be tightened evenly;
3. Check the packing parts to ensure the sealing of the packing and flexible opening of the gate;
4. Before installing the Cast Steel Gate Valve, the user must check the valve model, connection size and pay attention to the medium flow to ensure consistency with the valve requirements;
5. When installing Cast Steel Gate Valve, the user must reserve the necessary space for the valve drive;
6. Wiring of the driving device shall be carried out according to the circuit diagram;
7. The Cast Steel Gate Valvemust be maintained regularly. Collision and extrusion are not allowed, so as not to affect the seal.
1) The installation position, height and import and export direction must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and close.
2) The handle of all kinds of manual valves installed on the insulation pipeline shall not be downward.
3) The appearance inspection must be carried out before installation of the valve, and the nameplate of the valve should comply with the provisions of the current national standard “General Valve Mark” GB 12220. For the valve whose working pressure is greater than 1.0 Mpa and plays a cutting role on the main pipe, the strength and tight performance test should be carried out before installation, and the qualified rear can be used. During the strength test, the test pressure is 1.5 times of the nominal pressure, and the duration is not less than 5min. The valve shell and packing should be qualified without leakage. When the tightness test, the test pressure is 1.1 times of the nominal pressure; The test pressure shall meet the requirements of GB 50243 standard during the test duration, and no leakage on the sealing surface of the valve disc shall be regarded as qualified.
Remark:
* Handwheel, handle and transmission mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting, and collision is strictly prohibited.
* Double disc gate valves shall be installed vertically (i.e. stem in vertical position with handwheel at top).
* Gate valves with bypass valves should be opened before opening (to balance inlet and outlet pressure difference and reduce opening force).
* Gate valves with drive mechanism shall be installed according to the instructions of the product.
* Lubricate the valve at least once a month if it is used frequently on/off.
